Student Collaborative Research

I also collaborate with students on research projects related to contentious politics in Europe and the United States.

I am currently working with a team of students who plan to research the cooperation between abortion rights groups in Ireland and Northern Ireland. We are working to secure funding to interview these groups in the summer of 2019.

In 2018, I traveled with a group of students who were conducting research on the legacy of racial injustice to Montgomery, Alabama, to attend the Justice Summit at the inauguration of the Equal Justice Initiative’s Legacy Museum.
You can read about our experience in Montgomery, Alabama here.

In 2016, a team of student researchers and I conducted elite interviews in Scotland to study the role of youth voters in the Scottish Independence Referendum. We were fortunate to be there during Brexit, and so were able to study the Scottish response to Brexit in real time.                                            You can read more about our experience in Scotland here.
