I collaborate with students on research projects related to contentious politics in Europe and the United States.
In 2019, I traveled to Ireland and Northern Ireland with a team of students to conduct research on the movement to legalize abortion rights.
In 2018, I traveled with a group of students who were conducting research on the legacy of racial injustice to Montgomery, Alabama, to attend the Justice Summit at the inauguration of the Equal Justice Initiative’s Legacy Museum.

In 2016, a team of student researchers and I conducted elite interviews in Scotland to study the role of youth voters in the Scottish Independence Referendum. We were fortunate to be there during Brexit, and so were able to study the Scottish response to Brexit in real time.
