I am experienced in and available to do training with individuals, organizations, and universities. I am active throughout my university advancing conversations about equity, diversity, and inclusion on the university and classroom level. I mentor individuals and small groups to empower people to achieve their goals inside and outside of academia. I am particularly passionate about working with women, first generation students, and people of color to navigate higher education.
I can consult on the dissertation writing process and how to design a qualitative research project, particularly using ethnographic, interviews, or focus groups methods. I can also work with you as a developmental editor on your book-length project. I have worked with graduate students and faculty members on the research and publishing process, and love to consult on these!

Please contact me to discuss consulting on issues of diversity in higher education, negotiation strategies, and issues related to faculty at teaching intensive and small liberal arts colleges. I can help you with your teaching demonstration, review your job materials. I also offer half-day or full-day training sessions to prepare future faculty to succeed in the liberal arts environment.
Additionally, I work with clients to advance discussions of diversity, equity, and inclusion in their organizational settings, or to employ the “train the trainer” model with institutional leaders on diversity and inclusion. I recently received a grant to convene the first meeting of political science professors from across Nebraska to discuss issues of diversity and inclusion in the Midwest.
